Between those two, I have personal experience with the King Cobra (have it installed now). I have no real complaints, but I'm not sure I would use it for tracking or anything but for DD, it's fine.

Ram HDX and a MGW silver handle FTMFW...Thats what i got atleast, and yeah if u can afford it get a centerforce dual friction. I woulda went with that but i opted to get a new flywheel and a clutch for the price of a dual friction centerforce. Plus i decided to get a new pivot stud, clutch fork, steeda clutch cable and quadrant and firewall adjuster and pilot bearing and throwout bearing ok pretty much a brand new every mother effin thing for the clutch and drivetrain.

Right now my clutch is hard as hell to push. Because of that fact, I'm sure the previous owner put something heavy in it, but I have no idea what brand/model is in there. It has a steeda quadrant and an adjustable cable (adjustable at the clutch fork), but no firewall adjuster. I've been driving it to work every day like this since 2006. I've gotten used to the clutch, even in heavy Houston traffic. But when my dad gets in it (he drives an 18 wheeler for a living) he bitches that my clutch is too hard to press. Some people say the king cobra clutch has an easy pedal, and their wife with shot knees drives the car fine without bitching. Other people say they have to lift their ass out of the seat just to push it down. I don't really want to end up with the same thing that I have. My engine is pretty much stock, besides some modest changes. I don't drag race it, but it does see WOT every once in a while. It doesn't need a super badass clutch, but I don't want something that's going to slip.

The reason I ask is because other than the one Ford Racing offers, I have seen some people selling "king cobra clutches" on ebay, and UPR sells them too (they claim theirs is made by Valeo, which is the company that makes the Ford Racing ones) but as far as which ones are better quality, better grabbing and/or easier to push, (or if they are all the same) I don't know.

Got my king cobra clutch from UPR yesterday, installed it today, man, the pedal effort is a dream compared to what it was before. This cllutch is exactly what I wanted. I did buy the ford racing pilot bearing and throw out bearing tho.

The funny thing is, even though it is a valeo, the clutch says made in korea on it, I wasnt to happy with that, I thought ford racing was valeo and I thought ford parts were made in the usa
