I can understand where you are coming from but if the right offer for my car came along i would do it in a minute and start over with a 94/95. You may not get what you have into the parts but you can still sell them and use the money for new ones.

Nice Job and sorry to hear your junking it now! I wish I had the time to do all that to my car.

Junking it? Why? I wish my body was in that good of condition. I have dings, rust, scrapes, cracks, Stress marks. Ehh. I just got another estimate today from a different body shop and if I replaced the dented door/fenders, cracked hood/sail panels/spoiler and stressed rear bumper it would cost 6k. And that is an average from 4 different body shops.

I'm starting to second guess this car. is it even worth putting all the money into it to still have it relatively worthless?

Oh depending on the problems/issues with the shell would you consider selling it? And with the mods you have done to it will the stock suspension and k member still bolt back in there?

or should I ask will all the stock stuff I have compared to all your aftermarket stuff bolt back to the car?

hey sorry guys i was busy...but yeah i stripped the car down to nothing and junked the shell...they got just shell, i took all glass and body panels, even cut my new core support back out...

now the reason why i decided to junk it was this...car got into accident in February...a truck hit me...and insurance deamed it a total loss..so now it has a salvage title...cars in massachusetts are a bit@# to register with one...next thing we brought the car to ned last summer, put slicks on it, shot 150 shot off the line and tore the drivers seat off the floor, destroyed the floor pan. next the car had a new core support welded in and wasnt professionally done other than a good welder and guy that knows some body work...also car had been hit in drivers side before i got it..bad enough to cave the 1/4 and need a new door...also the entire back half bottom side...is pretty badly rusted..and trunk floor pan has 3/4 rot holes 2 of which are into the top of the frame rail...so some say this was unecessary...i say this is me saving my own ass..happy i finally woke up and did this before it was too late...

now i took EVERYTHING off the car...everything has to go....except for the fact im keeping ALL my suspension stuff, my 8.8, catback, hood, headlights, spoiler and tails....only things id really like to swap over to the new cobra.... plus im a 5.0 guy at heart...as much as i try and cover it up..i hate the 4.6
