1996... do you think that his Stang will be worth a lot of money one day?

Not rippin' on your car, drak, but these cars are not going to be worth anything, unless you drove it home from the dealer and parked it on blocks for 30 years.

There is a sig here on MM's saying "Drive it like you stole it" This is the story to which The Kitty subscribes

Even if it did, 50 years from now 'numbers matching' will only scoops $$ if it's got the correct heads/intake.

Jazzer, honestly i think these cars will become worth money at one point or another. I see the '95-'04 era becoming the new fox body generation. Nobody thought the foxbodies would be worth anything, but if you find a clean fox body thats still stock, or with basic mods they are already worth upwards of 10k. Its not like that price is going to drop either, the sn95 new edge era wont drop in price anymore, it has no where to go but up in price. I plan on keeping this car forever.

Again thats all my opinion.

Your right... but, the car must be kept in spectacular condition

Me....? I am gonna drive The VIXN for as long as I can find the local twisties with my quad-focals. I plan on being the worlds first centarian still rippin' it up in AX. Of course, my times may be a bit slower by that then and both my opinion and car will be worth the same amount

Jazzer and his $.02

well im a firm believer in what makes you happy. at first i did have plans to keep this car and "collect for those purposes, but as time went by and the car became a daily driver and the miles racked up i gave up on that. for a person to get the full amount they think they would deserve from "collecting" you would have to take certain steps and the biggest one would be not to drive it, be the first owner, keep every single document and brouchor for that car int that year and ofcoarse dont swap parts and keep it outta the sun and rain. i love this car and plan on driving it and i am happy with that. 40 years from now i hope i can still drop the top and drive her and get taken back to when i first baught the car. along the way ill make improvments to the cars sus, chasis and drivtrain to make it fun for me to drive and i think in my opinion is what matters. oh yeah i do plan on keeping the original engine so i can rebuild it. all of your cars will be worth something one day if you keep them and in running condition modded or not. it will be just like the foxes, its very hard to find one in stock trim for one and in decent condition for that matter. alot of people take em and cut them and shove unthinkable motors in them and drive them down the track. no you really want to ruin a car. chop it and drive it down a track. so just like the foxes these sn95s numbers will drop sooner or later and people will start finding them and chopping for the track. so on that note, be happy that you were able to be that person to own and drive a sn95 and did to it what made you happy.

Well hey man, my car is my DD too, just not in the winter. Also prices on the sn95's have dropped, hugely. I dont see them going any lower then they are now. Id be lucky to get 5k up here for my car. And thats with 184 000 KM so like 114 000 miles roughly. Its very clean too, perfect underneath, bullitt rims, a little exhaust work. Could use paint. Now look at the s197's that are 18-25k depending on what year you look at. I'd rather have my sn95 ANYDAY, i love the racecar feel to it. Believe me, ive driven the s197s, a lot too.
