Shortys are just as much of a headache as longtubes and the gains arent even worth it for the time and headache u might as well just get some kooks, hookers or flowtechs.

And the OP said he isnt installing them himself, if it was me i would be all over the install cuz i dont trust any of the bozo's working at shops to wrench on my car without a care in the world. Atleast when i do it things get cleaned up and put together with care and love. Shes my baby lol

Im not doing them my self cause im getting the engine swapped and i dont have an engine hoist. and the mechanic is my next door neighbor and we trust him with all of our cars(we have 5 lol) and i would do them but might as well have them done while im getting the motor replaced, saves me a headache!

I was looking at some bassani mid's and the guy wanted like 600 for them and it was catted and it was used and i thought new catless longtubes for 350 shipped was a good deal
