Protection for new badges

I don't know about you guys but everytime I get some new badges for the stang, they always get worn from weather and elements to fast. Does any have any ideas/suggestions on how to protect them? Any help is greatly appreciated!

i still have my originals and they are fine. id go with clearcoating them though if they are aftermarket. i take really good care of my OEM badges though, like cleaning with toothbrushes and armor alling the black part or silicone spray works wonders too but apply to rag then rub in. also electrician lube works freaking wonders on black plastic parts too. all my plastics and badges i use that stuff and its freaking awsome. apply that like tooth paste alittle here and rub in evenly. this stuff is made by Dow Corning, 111 valve lubricant and sealant. i get this stuff by the case cuz i worked offshore for awhile. you can also use the same things you shine your tires with but in small minute portions.
