Change of plans. PI mani and Cam results?

I was going to wait to do a full PI head swap but Ive been thinking it over and Im going to go ahead and install my Intake and Cams and keep the npi heads on. Im gonna save to boost instead.

The only problem I have. The PI intake manifold I have was given to me for helping someone turbo their car. It has the plastic crossover and a small hairline crack in the rear that I have repaired. What will I have to do to make this work with my 2nd coolant temp sensor since I cannot tap the plastic?

Also anyone that has installed only the pi cam and intake and used an SCT tune, how much power would you say that you gained? Im not looking to see a huge gain. If I see 20hp Ill be more than satisfied.

If its cracked dont use it its only gonna be a matter of time before it opens it. Remember heat expands and cold contracts, not a good mix for plastic really.

I just read that I can take my aluminum crossover from my npi intake and swap it to my pi intake. Problem solved. The crack is sealed very well. I used a dremel tool to grind it and used plastic/heat/water epoxy to fill it. It was on my friends dads car for months before he ended up wrecking it.

Seems like to much work instead of buying one off cl. They usually go for 50-100 bucks.

Ive been looking on craigslist for months and months. No one has anything in my area. Either way, free is better.
