Dimmer Switch


Hey guys, i got the white face gauges, and i need help getting the dimmer switch off, it says it should come off easily, but mine is not. Any advice is helpful. Thanks

You mean the knob that you pull to turn the headlights on? You need to pull it all the way out like youre turning your lights on. Then you need a tiny flathead screwdriver. Put the screwdriver in the slot in the knob and theres a tiny metal tab you have to kind of pry on, then the knob should pull off. It can be a PITA but you'll get it.

I just pull mine off.. i used a little elbow greese and it came off... Although I know I have to turn my whole knob over to where if you go any further, it will turn the dome light on... Give it a lil' pull and its off.

3 hours? Dang i would be frustrated after 30 minutes and would have just ripped it off. You have to pull it pretty hard so dont be afraid to man handle it.
