We got My girlfriend’s family and some of the neighbor's together to go watch me race my girlfriend’s Dad’s 07’ Shelby. We raced down a cosway back towards home. I didn't want to race b/c there was a little bit more traffic than expected and a camp ground too.

Keep in mind we're pretty much in the middle of no where so there wasn't much traffic, but more than expected b/c of the long weekend. The end of the cosway runs just past a camp ground, gas station, and a marina. There were a lot of ppl in the camp ground. I was SO nervous, like I said I really didn't want to run em, but we were already out there.


So were turned around and started head to the bridged part of the cosway so we could get a good launch off of the concrete. I had to let one car pass coming from in front of us. Then I pulled beside him. As I did a mini van pulled up behind Bob!!!!, my gf's dad. He looked at me and started the 3....2....1.... honk. With the mini van behind us we still left hard... He turned the traction control off and just baked the tires in first. So I jumped him in my lil ol' COBRA!!! But as soon as he got in third he was passed me. By this time I was ready for Fourth, but got on the brakes b/c we were fixing to pass the Camp ground..... Bob didn't even check up. He passed the camp ground running triple digits!!! I was scarred and went and hid my car at the neighbors house (I'm a scaredy cat) A few min later every one showed up at the house. Bob told me that my car really surprised him. I guess it did since he was pretty much burning the tires and watching my rear end for a few seconds. lol... He just needs to leave a little easier in that Beast of a car...


I'll prolly never do anything like that again... that's how bad stuff happens. It was fun though. The neighbors said that I wasn't but about a car behind the Shelby when I got on the brakes. That car needs a lot of suspension work before Bob really wants to drag it.


Anyway.. though yall would be entertained by this one...
