Ok back to this old thread. I rounded up some cash for my teksid block. I was wondering should i run my 2v p.i heads on that teksid block? What would my compression be? I want to stay 2v.

I also am looking into some pistons. What about throwing in 03-04 cobra rods and pistons? What are their limits?

So far in my mind im thinking teksid block, 03-04 cobra rods and pistons, my ported p.i heads. I like the idea of staying n/a but i think it might be hard to reach that 400rwhp mark without f.i. Sooooooooooo im open to suggestions. Big cam? s/c? big bore? stroker? Any input helps.

Now with this setup what would be my limits? What compression ration and how much boost?

i heard that putting 2v heads on a 4v block gets the compression kinda high but i could be wrong. honestly i would get a block (cast iron or aluminum) throw either the 03/04 cobra IRA into it or buy some manley or mahle stuff. but your gonna have to calculate what piston dish you need to get the compression you want. personally i would keep it low so you can always boost or not. then put your pi heads and intake on with some upgraded cams. slap a KB on and drive the hell out of it.

This is what im looking at doing. I basically have the teksid block just got to pick it up. What about high compression low boost?
