2V vs. 3V vs 4V

Ok so let me start off saying this is not the typical conversation about the two. At least I think its not.

But my question is.....

Comparing the two with lets say stock motors, no intakes or anything, and comparable exhaust systems what sounds better via exhaust tone?

Like both with O/R X or H and straight pipes, or Stock mids and flowmasters or any combination of exhaust set-ups. But they would both have to have the same systems for comparison.

What is your opinion?

Edit: I tried to edit to add 3v but I guess you cant edit the poll options.

Well the reason im asking is because tonight I went to chick fil a and behind me in the drive thru was a sn95 cobra. When we met at the light he was revving, he had some sort of exhaust system, but I revved back amd mine sounded wayy batter. Sounded like he had flows or something on the louder side.

And last weekend I was out riding ritchie hwy and there was a red new edge cobra with straight pipes and mine sounded better than that too and I have straight pipes. Doth the cobras I saw were raspy.

i wish i could contribute but a 2v with an SLP, stock h and manifolds in no comparison to a 4v with headers, off-road h, and flow 40's.

to be honest, i think the way the exhaust system is matched is what counts the most weather it be 2v or 4v.

this is true. either way, an exhaust on a mustang with all the right parts (headers/midpipe/mufflers) working together sounds great! personally after lots of exhaust changes, i like an off-road h with some kind of chambered muffler, but to each his own! its hard to beat the sound of an american V8
