New interior

Hello. Ive got a 98 v6 vert. [manual]

A while back, i got a leak in my top, just from being 13 years old. So, I replaced it. Unfortunately, i was not fast enough.

It ended up leaking all up in my carpet, and back seat, causing oodles of mold and mildewly looking stuff. Taking a look at my vinyl paneling and carpet and seats in general, i kinda want to redo it all.

I have peanut butter interior, which i want to swap out to black/charcoal. I am on the verge of ordering new racing seats (ill also need the universal mounts, no idea where to get them.)

My biggest problem is that I cannot seem to find many of the paneling. I cannot find the door panels, console (in between seats) dash, kneeboard, little areas left and right of the back seat, etc.

I can find placed to order new carpet, but i would kinda like to replace it with a rubbery/maybe vinyl like compound. Ive seen places that make molds of vinyl flooring for other make/models.. I also want to replace the console with a 2001-2004, in attempt to solve the notorious shifter-cupholder battle. It drives me crazy.

Any ideas?

I have had good luck finding panels in junkyards. They usually need some tlc and a good cleaning but they end up looking good and are much cheaper than new replacements. Remember that the interior panels are the same from 94-04 as well, you are not limited to 94-98 panels.

I swapped an 03 console into mine and love it.

ya junkyards are you friend for panels. i found an almost mint set of door panels i searched for for months and it only cost me 25 bucks! so search around. also i would love to swap a newer console into mine but there tan is different and with my interior combo i need it to be the 94-98 saddle color.

Sounds like it could be a good deal, however. If i dont run to the junkyard 2 days after a mustang arrives, I'm SOL, everything is gutted minus a broken this or that. Everything is gone. Funny, I can go up to a chevy, and they are pristine for 3 months after they arrive.. Damn dumb people.

Anyway, I'm just curious if it is possible to buy them new, or from a distributor. I don't mind forking an extra dollar or two. Such as ford dealerships.

Try MPS on ebay. They usually have what you need. All they do is part out mustangs.
