Heat Shield.
The heat shield under our hood, has any one removed theirs? I'm just concerned with it getting to hot and having the paint bubble and whatnot.

Yeah, its just some cars take no effect to it, as towards others ruin the paint.
 i just think it would look much more clean without it.

I don't know of any aftermarket hoods that even use a liner so I think you will be fine with removing it.

yep I have had a cervinis cobra hood and that doesnt come with a liner. (granted it is fiberglass)
