Oil coming out of my air filter help!

I just purchased this 1996 GT with a 4.6 says the the guy i got it from it has an svo head, intake, and an Eaton supercharger. The supercharger sits below the intake ive never seen one like this before. I thought at first it was a bad PCV valve and it helped but im still noticing some oil coming from the air filter the first time it happened 2 quarts dripped out. and it only drips out after i hit full boost and shut the car off? any help would be great!

Post pics of your setup, specifically of the PCV arrangement (both sides). It sounds like it may not be routed correctly.

I hope that "2 quarts" was an exaggeration!

It sounds like that is where the problem lies (the PCV line routing).

Which is an issue, since you're running the SVO supercharger.

The only thing is I cant find any information on the SVO set up. talked to some techs at the ford dealer today and they are all thinking i might have a cracked piston but i figured if i did i would be burning oil and it would just be obvious. does anyone have some info on the SVO PCV setup??? Im going to run some compression testing on it later when i get off work

I have the svo heads and blower. Here is a pic of where mine goes.

It comes out of the pcv valve and makes a very short jouney to the lower port on the back of the blower elbow you see in the pick.

I have never had any problems with oil in my air filter from it.

FYI, If you are runing the svo blower you are technically NOT running the svo intake as well. The svo intake looks like the bullitt intake. The setup is not stock. It was made available by Ford Motorsport SVO in 1998.

This is the svo intake:

I have one just in case I decide to go Turbo in a few years.

Welcome to the forums. Glad we could answer some of your questions. Feel free to PM ( private Message) me if you need any other pics of my setup to help you get yours sorted out.

ok i ran a compression check on it and the entire right side bank all ran at about 40 PSI the left side bank ran at about 160-180. We ran a wet check on it and the heads seem to be ok looks like Manley pistons and connecting rods now??

Sounds like you have much larger problems than just a PCV issue then.

But if i go that route my blower would not fit i know that blower does not produce alot of power but i have it so why not use it. I think im just going to go with a Forged Bored and Stroked short block that way what every i throw at it down the road my bottom end can take it

Forged short block + forged h-beam rods + forged crank (if plan on seeing past 600hp) + stage two blower cams is the route id take imo.
