Checking manuelly for a busted abs sensor?
Is there any way that I would be able to look at a sensor and determine if its bad without going to a dealership to get the damn thing checked out and have to pay like 80 bucks?

undo the abs sensor connector.. using the connector attached to the sensor measure the resistance. it should be 1.0-1.5 or either 1015 or 1245 ohms.
I cant remember which. |

If youre light is on and you have false activation. There is no fuse or relay thats gonna fix it. You have a bad sensor, or possible abs module. The only way to check the sensor is use ac current not dc. Use a volt meter and check jack up the car and turn the wheel. Other than that....spend the 80 bucks.
