Pony R Parts Rims?

Pony R Wheels : Pony R Parts!, Quality Parts

I definitely love the look of the fox body alloy pony rims and want to put them on my car.... The sad part is that the site is completely sold out, however when I try to contact the person they say to contact there is no answer... by email or by phone at either number, so I really don't know if this company is even around anymore?!

I was thinking of running a standard 5 lug 17x8 in front and then some 17x9's or 17x10's in back... Any suggestions as to which fit better on SN95's? and I do believe I'm right in saying I would need the 46mm offset for cobra brakes right?

Thus does anyone have any info on this company, or better yet does anyone have any they are willing to part with.

Just go pick up a set of 94-98 cobra rims Not the "r style" but regular ones they look pretty identical to them.
They can usually be had for like 150 without tires in good shape too.

sorry man no they are not, the difference is that almost every tunner wants to buy those dame 94-98 cobra rims. This is how those look:

these are the rims I am looking for, standard pony rims from a fox body. only the reproductions are 17" and 5 lug:

same style but different ideas behind them.

The reason why is because I am doing a SN95 SVO rendition of a SN95. I've spent the last 3 years (heavily searching and) collecting rare svo parts and original cobra parts so that I could make the design happen. Thus I will not settle for a simple "looks kinda the same" type of answer.

ya i know, its just that im a picky so and so, and since I'm really trying to hit my design on the head I will settle for nothing but the original style.

figure if i gotta spend the money I might as well be that picky.

sides that the company wants 130 per for the ones I want, so its not like they are terrrrrribly expensive. but still, expensive enough.

Found this thread via a google search. I know it's a couple months old, but I'd like to clarify that Pony R Parts is up and running. We were having some e-mail problems preventing customers from reaching us. For those that want to get our wheels, we are having a group buy. Head over to the site to check it out, we only have a few spots remaining though. I apologize for the lack of contact, but I assure you we are doing our best to take care of our customers. Thanks.

PS - Best way to contact us is through e-mail, I respond to e-mails very quickly

Hhmm, I will say this. I do agree with this guy on seeing awsome mustangs and you finally see the rims to find out that they are the genaric 03 cobra, 95 cobra, etc. I run into this problem when selecting my rims. Now do not get me wrong. I love, apsolutly love the way cobra rims sit with sn95s, I just have the issue of always seeing them as a cheap aftermarket replacement choice for mustang owners. I would like to be diffrent is all. But I do give this guy props for being so picky and specific with his parts because it defintly adds prestiege to his car and will stick out amongst the rest of the 15000 mustangs with the same rims.
