I thought I read somewhere that with an automatic transmission, they have fitment problems...?

a BBK o/r h from a 97 cobra will fit mine just fine right? its for stock headers, bolt on....

My wife had an auto in her vert and I put one in without any fitment problems at all. The only problem I had was the top starter bolt. I actually ended up removing the old pipe and putting the new ones in without removing the starter. What a bitch.

That is only for the 99+ cars. Our cars do not require a gasket for the midpipe.

No, you don't need one. Feel free to use one if it makes you feel better but it is not required. I have never used one and I have had no leak problems. That was 2 different midpipes on my car and one on hers.
