I want to know what this stripe idea would look like if it were done professionally. Whatever is scribbled in would be solid gray along with the recessed part of the bumper. And on the back it would go straight down but it would be as wide as the front is.

Damn I forgot the skinny stripes that run along the side of the wide ones on the back.

What do you all think about that? Too much or no? no stripes on the roof, don't like that look for some reason.

Also, I know what rear bumper that is, I like it. Also know what hood that is, don't like the scoop but the hoods nice. Would have a saleen style front bumper though.

But does anyone know what wing that is? It don't look like the stock 96-98 gt wing.

IMHO though, i wouldn't put that on my car. I'm also not onr for stripes on GT's and V6's.

You wouldnt put that on there because you dont like stripes or the stripe design is bad? I dont mind stripes because the options are kinda limitless. Right now it has a stupid cameleon flame job, and I hate it.

I dont mind the uniqeness of the paint job that it has now but the stripes would be better. Im getting the car painted black from the hideous green that it is now. I just dont want to be like everyone else and drive a plain black mustang. Thats just seems "played out" in my opinion.

But if I do the stripes and they turn out with the same result as above, I wouldnt do it either. Lol. I know im a good artist but not that good. Heh.

As towards the stripes, i dont like them that wide, there is a very fine line between to wide and to skinny.

Yeah those are to wide, are you doing vinyl? Could always peel it off if you don't like them

they actually sell stripe kits at autozone and other stores now, they are no diffrent than the material that comes on the BOSS mustang even..i dont think the stripes would look good..me if i had a mustang, id do the hood trunk and above the doors one color and all below another..

I work at a part store, and the vinyls are definitely not the same quality as the boss ones, they peal in a few months.

if it makes you feel better my uncles boss that he boyght with his inheritance money, the stripes on it are the same material that i got my custom 4.6,xr7 ad cougar-xr7 decals made out of, i picked the color text size and all and all they did was print them, it was like 70 bucks only for all of them.one i got like a week after i got the car to put in the back window and it has yet to crack,fade or peel anywhere.
