Header and Mid Pipe ???

I'm looking at getting some BBK longtubes and getting o/r x pipe. Does the mid pipe have to be short? If so, what yields better power

Short Heads+Regular xpipe
Long Heads+Short xpipe
Short heads+Regular hpipe
Long Heads+Short Hpipe

yes you've got it right, you have to have a short mid pipe to work with the LTs.

X-pipe design generally frees up more power compared to an h-pipe.

Kooks by far have proven to produce the most power but come with a healthy price. As far as a mid pipe Dr. gas has been a great company and again you pay for what you get.
