TB and plenum options?

My current TB is ported to 68mm with a stock plenum. Should i just port it to 70 and get a C&L plenum? OR should i get a 75mm instead? Not sure whats the best set up to go with?

id go with a 75mm i had the best ported stock setup and it was wayy better than my stock but doesnt compare to the 75mm throtle response and its highend..i didnt lose any low end either but i also had it tuned for it..but it ran fine w/o the tune..

To be honest you might gain .5 hp off of 5mm of difference. With npi heads. So id say save for something worth while.

I'm getting it tuned in the spring, so ill probably get a 75mm at that point then. Also 1989Gt, next winter its getting a pi swap, im not doing it this winter due to not wanting to go pull them out of a car in the wrecking yard in literally freezing weather.

Best plenum hands down is the Trickflow or Accufab, always go with the 75mm, even on mild combinations.

Let us know how we can help, we keep both in stock and offer big discounts to Modded mustangs members

i had a TrickFlow upper plenum on my car for a while. it was a very nice piece. neither the T/B (i had a 70mm MAC) or plenum made any noticeable gains IMHO but it did seem to improve the throttle response/how smooth the engine operated. i'm 2nd TrickFlow for the upper plenum

C&L Upper Mustang Intake Plenum (96-04 GT) 711 - Free Shipping!

Thats what i currently like, i like the look of it, all great reviews, reasonably priced and i dont want a huge "BBK" or "accufab" stamped into the top of my TB. This one only has a small C&L on the side.
