Rear Brake problem

Ok So i thought i needed new brakes because it was metal to metal on the previous stock rotors. but when i dug into it i noticed it had brand new pads. after i replaced the Rotors and pads this is what turned out after i test drove it. what would cause this??? if you cant see in the picture the caliper bracket is scrubbing the rotor. when i dissembled and reasembled it looked fine and not touching before i test drove. but when i went for a test drive and came back it looks like this.

Is the mounting bracket to the caliper rubbing on the rotor??

Hard to tell from pic angle, but would look to a possible bent caliper braket. If it is bent, it will not hold the caliper "square" to the rotor and hence make contact.

Yes the bracket is scrubbing, but i noticed it only hits when i pull with the play in the axle. So i took my diamond bit grinder and ground off about an 1/8" on each side of the bracket and problem solved!
