Go from the front of the car. It takes a few extensions but makes it really easy and I personally didn't put it back on.

There is like 2 combos of extensions and swivels that can get you there and it is quite tricky. I wrote the combination down and put it in my glove box, unfortunately my car is in storage or i would tell you. I put mine back in, but next time it comes out, its stayin out.

A few flex sockets, going from the front, a few swear words. Also an air ratchet helps a lot too. Took me a solid 30 minutes to get the top one back in.

Just like they said, some swivels and extensions right through the front. I left mine out so I wouldn't have to deal with it next time.

Tubular K-member FTW.
Before I had the K-member I used a ratchet like this.. ![]() this and a little extension and it was a breeze. Top part bending to help get around the tough angles.

And a swivel. I have done it this way several times. Auto's seem to be harder than manuels though but that shouldn't be a problem for you.

Thanks for the tips..That's the longest time it has ever taken me to get a starter out.Haha.
The good news is that it's all apart and I'll be putting it back together tomorrow. |
