replace Ford badge on trunk lid

i know there is 2 pins holding it on my question is how do i get it off and what should i replace it with anyone that has done this or knows of pics please post i would love to see.

the pins are kind of like locators for the emblem itself. the ford oval has double sided emblem tape holding it on. when i removed mine, i gentely pried up the one end with a small flat screw driver and put some heat to it with a heat gun and it peeled right off. any excess goo from the tape can be taken off with some wax and grease remover.

cant help out with what to replace it with, i put the ford emblem back on once my car was painted. havent really seen anything else done but i'm sure someone out there has changed up the badging on the trunk lid

Look on V6mustangperformance.com. There is some info by wrxified on how he had a procharger badge made that replaced the faux gascap. Search for all of his posts and you will find the name of the company that made his badge.
