Cruise Control not working.... Broken resume button?button
Hey, my cruise control quit working a while back and the horn works, no air bag light, and the turn signals work. However, there is NO feel in the resume button, seems all the way down and it rattles. Just curious if any one has seen this before. Would like some feed back before shelling out money for the new switches. Thanks.

check your cruise control cable. its directly under your throttle cable. if its off or loose then the cruise wont work. we have mechanical cruise control on these cars not the electronic stuff like newer ones. lol welcome to the forums man!

Thanks for the input. Cable is attached and not exactly what I would call loose, if you pull on it moves about an inch.

It should move like that. I don't think that is your issue.

Yeah, thats what I figured, and looking at the billet buttons on AM it seems that the resume button could break and then have no feel and not work and rattle, so I guess I'll shell out the $35 bucks for the replacement units on ebay and see if that takes care of it. I'll let you know if that works

could be that . Also check the clutch switch. There is a switch that disables it when pressed. if that is bad it will prevent it from working .
do note that it is not the same as the clutch start switch. This CC switch is located at the very top of the clutch.
