NON PI CAM CHOICE
hey guys thanks for help with the npi building thread, i would just like to know the cam which would be best to run on stock pistons, without notching i wouldnt mind valve springs, yet would like to know whats going to give me that lumpy sound, and if its possible to leave the heads on for valve spring upgrades. basically guys i want to have a nice lumpy sound with little work if possible, not saying its easy. im just new and need help thanks guys very helpful folks on here.

You can leave the heads on to do a valve spring upgrade. You will need to remove the spark plug and connect compressed air up to cylinder to hold the valves up without the springs in place. When doing the springs it is a good time to replace the valve stem seals as well.
