If you do the PI swap, cold air intake, under drive pulleys, MSD coils, MSD or Taylor wires, full synthetic oil, headers/exhaust, a programmer/custom tune, 3.73/4.10 gears, 75mm throttle body/plenum... Then you shouldn't have a problem beating a Camaro, Challenger or Charger! My 1996 GT 5spd has Flo's (2 1/2"), MSD coils, MSD wires, under drive pulleys & 3.73 gears & it ran off on a 60mph roll against a new V/8 Camaro... Something tells me you need some mods &..... I still have the PI swap to do, upgrade the cams, throttle body/plenum upgrade, cold air intake, programmer, etc... A '96-'98 with all the bolt ons & a tune/programmer should turn a 12 easy!!! Full synthetic oil does free up some HP also due to less friction!!! I use Royal Purple...

Also, if the posi-trac won't kick in put it in reverse & bump it!!! Then slowly creep forward & you should have full posi!!! I couldn't race a school bus right now with my crappy tires, lol... I tried to take off from a dead stop & I almost spun all the way through 4th before catching traction!!!

Well my 96 gt is pretty stock and i smoke my 2 friends all the time. One has a TSI AWD dsm the other a 3sgte MR2. I also beat a 330rwhp 1981 1/4 ton chevy silverado.... I tried taking on a skyline one time but that was a bad idea......
