EFI Fittings and Connectors

Whats up fellers, Was wondering if this fitting would work with the connectors that are on the feed and return lines that hook up to the feed or return nipple at the fuel hat? This is actually for GM or Chrysler but it looks the same as the ends on our fuel hat lines.

That would be the correct TYPE of fitting. But not sure on the size.

Thats not what I would use...

Here is what I would use...

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-165056ERL/

cut the factory line connection off and slide this on... I don't know the size of the factory lines though... Mine are long long gone.

no you put the red piece on the tube, and then slide the ferruel on the tube and then tigthen the blue piece to the red piece and it makes a strong connection for you. When I built the fuel system for my diesel pickup this is what I used. Factory lines to the engine bay and then from there cut and put these on for return and feed.

Another question, those female AN EFI connectors that are used on the male connector I have on my first post, will they connect on our fuel hat.

SHHHHH...Do you smell that?

I guess it would be ok on the return. I'm using the factory feed for the return. Ill prob go steel braided on the feed. Aeroquip most likely.

What hose did you end up using after you got rid of the hard lines? Did start smelling of fuel.

SHHHHH...Do you smell that?

I have used braided steel line, push loc blue hose, and now am on nylon feed and return lines...

Thats around 500 bucks in fittings and a regulator that you can't see...

Braided steel line is fine too, the push lock isnt pretty, but will work well too.
