Doing it myself..I don't let other people turn wrenches on my cars no matter how easy or hard it is.I do have to say though that coming over to the Mustang from a Corvette is quite a learning curve.lol
Everything shipped is $350.Of course I could've gotten it all cheaper by doing a lot of searching and buying used parts but I'd rather just go ahead and buy it all new and at one time.

Omg all the work on my car was done buy a shop before i owned it and i find the sketchiest stuff. I heard a clunking from my suspension and i couldnt figure it out so when i went to check out my A arm i realised there was ONE BOLT! One bolt hanging on the end of the threads and the other was missing omg... i pooped my pants. I looked at the service bills the previous owner gave me and sure enough the A arm had been touched by them. I refuse to take me car to any average shop to get work done on it. They also stripped one of my lugs on my back tire like seriously!!

The PI intake swap is awesome btw! I just finished mine it runs waaay smoother and revs way quicker. Just make sure you let that RTV set for 24 hours and dont get impatient and start it early! And less is better you dont want to clog anything!

Yeah and it's everything to do it...He also drilled out and tapped the intake for the 2nd coolant sensor (also included in the price).
I'll let ya'll know how it goes. There shouldn't be any issues. It's just an intake swap but while I have it apart I'm going to do new plugs and probably going to pull off the valve covers and powdercoat them chrome along with any misc. brackets that have to come off during the process.

If you already have an NPI aluminum cross over just reuse it! I did so i didn't need to buy the expensive tap for the sensor (didn't have the right size...) nor did i need a new alternator bracket! Saved me a couple bucks.

That's the thing I don't have the NPI aluminum crossover..The stock plastic one is what cracked on my car.I didn't really want to bother with drilling the new intake myself.Plus the guys at blue oval pretty much drilled and tapped it for me for buying the intake(he said it was like $5.00 for them to do it).And the alternator bracket comes with the kit.
I didn't mind spending the $350 to get new parts shipped that all I have to do is bolt on ya know?

Wait wait wait. Sharkbait never P.I. swapped. He went from a svo blower to a 5.4 swap to a lightning blower on top of that.

I got mine from lonny at BOCs too, I hope you got the new coolant nipple and 180 deg thermostat. You should already have the newer style nipple on there if yours is 98 but he told me to take the Orings off the new nipple to replace the old 1s which was easy. I think it was worth it going with boc considering you get everything you need all at once and it's new already drilled and tapped ready to go. I used the orange permatex and only let it setup for 10 hours and on my 2nd mth of dd use. At first I didn't use the 180, but then I replaced the oem with it and like it alot better. Make sure to have some bungee ties to get your harness up and out of the way which you might've read about already, and he's got a great idea in his instrucs. about using the longer cutoff bolts as temp studs to keep gaskets in place aligning intake without sliding around, it was alittle extra work but well worth it if you are by yourself. sure will go well and goodluck.

To each his own..Moneys not a problem.I'm not 100% sure I want to keep the 4.6 so spending the extra $$$ on replacing perfectly good heads didn't make sense to me.Now if something would've happened to them and they had to be rebuilt or replaced it would've been a different story.I would've spent more time trying to find a "deal" on used parts..Of course if I decided to keep the 4.6.
Plus you can't go wrong with all new parts, guaranteed to work outta the box.
