Are there any issues with driving 200 miles w/ a shift piston issue? [Video of issue]

I need to drive about 200 miles before I can get this fixed... will doing so possibly cause other things to break or do I have nothing to worry about? To me it just looks like a late 1-2 shift but I don't know if that is hard on the engine, etc.

Thanks in advance guys!

How do I start off in 2nd gear if I have an automatic transmission? Put it into #2 and then click it into drive (which is located immediately to the top of the #2 position) once I hit about 2000 rpms?

Yeap that is how. Or just drive it harder so 2-3 and 3-od shift at the same point and it wont be as noticable.
