Fram V6 Mustang High Mileage Filters...
I bought a box of filters from Summit Racing, and they all ended up being the V6 style.
I have like 10-15 oil filters here- all in OEM boxes, never opened. So I called them. They wont take them back, I guess Ill sell em on here- Lol Any ideas? Oil filter box fort? Lol |

I'd call them and freak until they took them back. They're all 3600's then right? Bring them back to any local supplyer and see if they will accept it was a return.

Oh I tried that, "James" was a huge dick and laughed that "Man, it happens all the time, you kids and your 'fast cars' ordering the wrong stuff by not reading the descriptions. Dont you have any v6 Mustang friends you can give them to? I mean, we cant take a return on something like an oil filter..."
Yeah buddy, I know a couple Mustang guys- Ill see if they want them (MM) |

This is why i NEVER order from summit. American muscle all the way. I have had nothing but great experiences with dealing with them. I refuse to deal with summit, and always advise people against them.

Useful information. Yeah they are about 60/40 on parts and stuff for me, I get some really great orders, then some I open the box and go.... Oh.....no......

Summit is over priced, and never a good place imo. Like i said, american muscle! Oh and for filters, dont run fram! Motorcraft is oem and either the same price or cheaper.

Definitely go Motorcraft though. They were the same price as the Fram's at Rural King. However, are you sure it's a different part number? I could have sworn in the book they had on the shelves at the store they listed all Mustangs as the same P/N.

I got them to refund half the cost, so maybe Ill make a package deal, like $30 for 10-15 filters. The only company worse then that is 4wheelparts. I waited on an intake for my 98 ranger for 7 MONTHS |

Most stuff from Summit gets here in 2-3 days. Which is great for me seeing as most places take almost a week to ship, then another week in transit. Damn Harbor Freight took over 3 weeks to get me supplies! ![]() Granted I only get general components/tools/supplies at summit, nothing model specific. I was pretty pleased with the TFS adjustable and Cloyes gears I got from them though.

Get on a F150 site and sell them they fit.....
2004-2008 SOHC 4.6 2005-2006 SOHC 5.4 1997-2006 4.2 1997-2008 The only thing that might screw you out of selling them is that they are indeed Fram.
