Hi! New to mustangs and need to be steered in the right direction

i have a 98 gt and i want to of course make it faster, what i want to start off with is a pi intake and cam swap and maybe porting the heads? i have read alot about the full pi swap and i dont really want to raise the compression ratio and have to run higher gas, so i was hoping i could get some opinions and some advice?

HEads are not worth it and with what he has in his sig maybe 265 tops if even that much . Do the pi cam do the intake . There are many writeups on it. Its easy to do once you go over everything you need to know. I have a few great write ups on it that will help, and feel free to ask questions.

If you weant 300rwhp your going to need a stage 2 p.i. cam and some ported p.i. heads. Or a svo intake and set of svo heads.

Yes. higher compression. PI head swap would require premium .

or you could slap some stage 2 cams with a pi intake(or better) then drop a turbo or SC in and call it a day. if i was to go back thats what i would have done. but ofcourse that would be after some suspension work.

Thats what I just got done doing had the supercharger on before so I put a PI intake on ,MHS Stage II cams, BBK headers, ported and polished the NPI Heads, aftercooler and 39# injectors at about 10 pounds of boost !! sounds real strong but it wont run for more than a few minutes due to the plugs fouling !!!! Have to wait for the weather to break so I can take her to get a good tune on her !!! Im hoping for close to 400 RWH !!!

ok so i plan on doing the pi swap lol there are alot of good write ups on it so pretty much all my questions are answered....but one. if i remove the pi heads directly off a mustang in good to fair condition do i have to degree the cams if there already installed in the pi heads? i ask because im not too sure how to do that haha
