Newbie 97 4.6l transmission problems

If any one can help me with this.

I have a 97 mustang gt with 132,000.00 miles and the clutch was replaced about 35,000 miles ago. The question is I can shift into 1,3,and 5th. But not 2,4, and reverse. There is no noise no grinding, it just will not move in those gears???

Its is like those gears are no longer there?

Does anybody have any idea? Freinds told me its the sencrinisers ?????

sry cant spell..

I doubt it's distinctly, each individual synchronizer causing it if there is not grinding at all. They might be screwed after whatever it was that happened inside the transmission. I'm going to let someone with more experience help you out with this one since I'm not sure how the t45 is set up exactly and I will probably give you the wrong info. The only thing I am thinking is probably way off from the problem. You are definately going to have to open it up and take a look at it to correctly find the problem whether you do it by yourself or take it somewhere.

No it should be the stock shifter. Nothing should be changed.
