Auto Trans Problem - Stuck in Park on my AOD

So I go out to drive my '96 Stang out of the garage this morning and the tranny won't shift out of park. I look and there is a LOW OIL light on the dash. So I check the tranny fluid and it was low. I added 1 bottle to it, the levels was good again and the light went out, but still stuck in park. I did a search on here and couldn't find anything related to this problem. Has anyone experienced this and know what to do to get this corrected?

yeah the shift interlock works off the brake lights switch on the pedal. If the wire is broken or the sensor melts then you wont beable to shift out.

I bought a brake/neutral cable with a solenoid from the dealer and installed it and nothing changed. I still have the problem. I am going to check my fuses.

I start the car while it is in Park and it won't shift out of park. I turn the key off, turn the back back to the 12 o'clock position to disengage the solenoid and shift it to neutral so I can start the car and drive it. Once I park and shift it into park, it will not come out of park.

The keys come out just fine no matter what.

temporarily, you can put a key in the electronic shift lock underneath your steering wheel, to get you to and fro where you need to go

Well I have changed out the Stoplight switch and the brake/neutral cable and it hasn't changed anything. I checked all of the fuses also just to play it safe and the problem is still there.

No brake lights, turn signals and it won't shift out of park.
