Car won't fuckin start

I just let the car sit for about 20 mins and now it won't start... will turn over but won't crank... anti theft light is not flashing unless the key is in the crank position and a door is open. tried alternate key and the thing cranked once and won't again.... Any ideas?

Lock the car again with your keyless entry. Use the panic button and turn off the alarm. Then use keyless entry to unlock the car and try to start it again.

aww man i dont know..i have a 96 to..disconnect the battery for at least 2 minutes and then connect it back and then turn the key onto the crank position and let it sit a sec and then try cranking it a couple times..if it doesnt crank after that it might be something mechanically wrong with it...

Did this happen all of a sudden of did u mod the car. Maybe put a deck in, messed with the electrical. Anything? I'm not suggesting u did, only asking so people can help diagnose u a little better. It's hard not being right there looking at it with u.

I didn't mod the car recently, all the wires are in the right spot.... I have driven it in the past 2 days with no problems...

The car doesn't crank at all... it turns over like normal but doesn't crank and still has power when you try to turn it on.... brake light comes on and I think the coolant light comes on too.... but I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with it

i had an issue with my chevy last fall. Car used to get jammed in park and drive, eventually the cable the connected the ignition to the shifter(auto) was to sticky and dry and sometimes my key wouldn't release from the ignition, or start. no crank or nothing. i'd have power but no clickety click. is your car auto or manual? I just lubed it like ten times and no problem

check to see if your cable is connected or dry. I know mine went because I had spilled lke 50 slurpees in it over the summer. I unfortunately had a job that required me to almost live out of my car, and i had crappy cupholders. now i don't even allow ingestion of food in my vehicle. My gf has to beg my and pretty much sign a liability statement.
