got my car back!!!

well as some may not know my car was stolen and i got it back but without my intake and heads on it!!! it was ALL in the trunk haha but i was wondering what should i do since its already torn apart from someone else i looked and i also have all the bolts lol i just wanna get it running and not ticking like it was before it was stolen, so should i put a new bottom end and top end in it or just rebuild with the bottom end it has, i have a huge tick from 1500rpm all the way up to where the exhaust overpowers it at about 3000rpm but its also straight pipe all the way back so theres no backpressure any help would be great... thanks

Nice to hear you got your car back... is there a story behind it getting stolen?

As for the ticking, since you just have a straight pipe I would guess it's just your valves that you hear ticking.
