from what I have heard it CAN be a pain in the @ss, but definately worth the effort. It's going to be my next mod when I get the cash and this wedding over with.

It's one of the most fun mods you can possibly do next to gears. A set of long tube headers will really add power and sound to your car. That and it's a must-have-bolt on. Go for it. If it's your daily driver plot a weekend out, but if your in no rush it's not that bad to do on your own. Take your time and don't be afraid of the hammer. Sometimes it takes a bit of pursuation. Hell, even if they don't, you are probably going to get frustrated and want to beat the daylights out of them with a hammer anyways.

(Don't beat them obviously, but headers are frustrating enough where you want to!)
Some fit better than others, so look around. Anyway you look at it they're going to give you some trouble, but its so worth it in the end.

Just make sure if you plan on lowering your car to keep that in mind with long tubes. I've seen them hit the ground before, and I'm from Florida with flat terrain. Myself, I chose to go with shorties. You won't gain as much power or torque versus the long tubes, but you will still gain, and I think they are easier to install and you won't have to worry about ground clearance. I am also lowering my car an inch.

speaking of inspections...you also may get a ticket for noise pollution if your car is too loud...some cities are really anal about that
