I/O switch found behind steering wheel

I was messing around behind the wheel checking fuses and whatnot and noticed this:

If you can't tell, the white cable is severed and I found it already switched off. My cruise control has never worked since I got the car but I never really needed it. Does anyone know if this is the reason?[/img]

I thought the GTs don't have fog lights. I have little tiny headlights on the bottom of the front bumper and there's a switch next to my handbrake. Sometimes when I press it, the little orange light on the switch turns on but usually it doesn't. Nothing outside of the car changes though.

It goes to the front of the car in a little black cup-like thing on the left side of the back wall.

Sure, give me a few minutes. Can't promise anything high quality, though.

edit:
This actually came out much better than I thought it would

Keep following it. If it goes to anything they have to lead somewhere.

Yeah keep tracing it...It has to lead to somewhere...Then let us know where it leads to...My guess is it is left overs from neon lights or soemthign of that nature...Prolly leads up to around the battery if my guess is correct...

Its not factory by any sense of the word...

Neon Lights...

Its not in anyway shape or form connected to your headlights?

Believe it or not I have seen people try it...

Check under the car for neons...

And get all that "jerry rigged" $hit out of there...

Well, those black and white wires go into my fender and I've never noticed any neon underneath, but then again I wasn't really looking for any. Where are they commonly installed?

Under the car next to the frame rails...

Check where it goes in your fender...Its prolly the ground...Someone prolly had them on the car and then before they sold it they took them off...

The black/white wires actually seem to lead into my brights I think. The one next to the blinker. And it also goes to the other side as well.

Cant really see it...

But does the wires actully go to a plug? Are they spliced into the headlights?

I can bet they are stobes...Strobes are little lights that that flash inside your headlights...Mostly for car shows...But ricers use them alot as well...
