how close would this race be


my brother and i both have mustangs and we are racing for the garage space.

His Ride
98 cobra
kenne bell supercharger
headers (dont know what make)
o/r x-pipe

My Ride
96 GT
paxton supercharger
pi head swap
bassani x pipe
bassani catback
headers (dont know what make)

should i ask for lengths or would it be close heads up

yea you definatley need lengths as far as the mods your about even meaning it be the same as a stock gt vs. stock cobra race so your most likley done for

but if the cobra can't drive you might be in luck. i raced an 03 cobra a couple of weeks ago from 40-120 (because im governed at 120 ;.( gotta get that chip) i start with my front bumber even with his door and by 120 i was just behind his rear bumber. you might be ok

im not sure why it won't go over 120, it kinda pisses me off. it not red-lined or anything in fifth, it tacs between 3500 and 4000 rpm at 120 (i try not to look down very long lol) you can take 5th gear up slowly to 120 and hit a wall or you can take 4th up to 5.8k and shift into fifth at 120 and hit a wall, it just ont go any faster. i hang out north of the beltway, humble>tomball> conroe and everything in between. i dnt go out to katy very much, traffic at I-10 and the beltway blows balls, especially with a heavy foot
