vortech t trim is good to like 26psi i think, the procharger d1 is good to like 32psi. look into either one of those.prolly be able to do it with p&p pi heads and hp292 blower cams of course thats with high boost (prolly around 18psi)... thts just how i would approach it, with a forged bottom end, and 9:1 compression

You can go with anywhere from a Vortech S-trim, or YS-trim. Procharger P1SC, Paxton Novi. You can run as much as you want. Your block will hold it. But I would say if you want to keep it reliable, dont go over 14lbs. YOur Really running the risk of tearing your rings up after that.. Yeah, you can run 17-20lbs, but you really have to take into consideration your driving habbits, whats the car being used for? Blah blah. You also need to know, that if you want to make sure your motor is good, your going to really want to tear it down around 45-50,000 miles, freshin the rings and barings. Its just a good idea. You can run 9:1 compression, this will also make you run less boost. Then again, you can just run a 331 that breathes well with 14lbs and that will get you right were you want to be...:-P

I love my t-trim...So that is an option for you...
I would also like to recommend the Paxton Novi 2000... I would also like to recommend the Procharger D1SC... Heads/Cams VT Engines makes great heads and cams for the mod engines... Modular Powerhouse makes great heads and cams for the mod engines... Me personally I would have my compression ratio around 8.5 to make it boost friendly... |
