Timing cover removal


Has anyone heard of having to remove the oil pan to remove the timing cover??

(sorry casper...I know now I just PMed you but i thought it might be useful if anyone else needs this info )

you dont have to take the oil pan off to do that..alls you need to do is use some sealant on where the oil pan and the timing cover meet

No need to remove the oil pan. I think the haynes manual says you have to for some reason but you don't.
