1. i shift around 5600-5800, get a dyno to see where your car makes peak power and thats where you should shift.

2. some powershift but i dont, i just tap the clutch really fast and shift.

3. when you race from a dig you are stopped, you mean from a dig or a roll. i like launching from a dig.

4. around 3000-4000 depending on your tires and driveline. practice at a track if you can to find whats best for you.

i love mustangs too.

don't shift around 56-5800 if your npi, which if your car is stock, u are. if u've got a pi swap, or pi intake, or intake and cams, u can shift around 5800, otherwise ur car dramatically drops in power after 4800 rpms.

I vote for 5100 or less to shift, and just shift as quick as you can, from a dig, and I have had the best experience by slipping it from 2400 RPM!

it was do you like starting from a dig or from a stop.

to slip the clutch, do i just full throttle and let it out slow? like preload the drivetrain and drop it? or ... what's the most amazing way to launch.

When I slip the clutch, I take it to about half throttle and then let the clutch out slowly and while I am doing that start putting more throttle on it! It really takes some practice and is a form of art! I get better at it each time I do it!
