been a few weeks- got a lot done

been a few weeks since i posted here, but i finally got the blower all situated. hit performance dyno in concord today, had a few issues. my o2 sensor heaters are kaput, so i gotta fix that. spark plugs were fouled up like crazy from running rich the last couple weeks (real real rich) so im gonna take em out and clean them, maybe go a step hotter (2 steps colder now). the graph showed massive fluctuation at 5k, and pete at performance dyno says its most likely from the plugs being fouled and such. he gave me a conservative tune of 330rwhp/355 ft/lbs. he figures itll reach 350rwhp no prob with the plug issue resolved, but next time i go down there ill probably have a new pulley and new gears. all in all everything else checks out, just gotta replace the oil pan+drain fitting.

oh and my setup is: 01 s281e-motor,vortech s trim aftercooled, 42# injectors/90mm mas/255lph pump, full exhaust, and c&l plenum.

He isnt running much boost and if you read it, says he is running on a safe tune right now due to the problems they had.

Petes a good guy huh.

yeah pete really knows his stuff. i mean ive been chasing this problem around for 3 months, and within 5 minutes on the dyno he told me the o2 heaters werent working. that alone was worth the trip, cause i never would have thought about that. the power is low cause it dropped off at 5k rpms, pete said it was spark blow off or something, so he told me to get new plugs cause that probably caused it. im running the stock pulley, and its getting 9lbs so i figure when everythings perfect itll put down at least 350. but by the time i go back there ill be running a larger crank pulley, a new inlet, and a boost cooler so im hoping for 430

Damn Ryan, so much for having the most powerful SN-95 around....

haha, but fuck yeah good for you man. That car is nice too. Just needs to get pretty again. Let me know when youre completed, i sure would love a ride in it. Sure would LOVE to let you use my Mickey Thompsons and run that bad bitch at New England.

Take care.
