B &M shifter

what are your thoughts on this?

i was looking on dallas mustang and it shows a pic of this

im guessing its just the plate on the bottom, and the instructions state:

The transmission pan is removed and the valve body is taken out. The stock separator plate is replaced with the special B&M plate, reinstall the valve body, filter and pan and your done! In some cases other minor modifications may also be made

will this wear out my transmission quickly or just slightly more wear???

I would like to know more about the install myself. I'd love to put one in my 98.
