octane and TUNE

ok some some1 tuned my car with a handheld SCT or diablo or something idk but the dealer told me and it is certain with the rev limiter off and changed shift points

but i wasnt sure what octane the car was tuned for 89 or 93 so i been using 89 since i got the car during the itme gas prices went up and now that there back down today i decided to fill her up with 93 with only 1/8th of 89 still in the car.. now from as soon as i left the gas station the sound changed atremndously. before it was a raspy growl, loud but not much bass to it, now with the 93 it sounds stock at low rpms and when i rev it or give it gas it is a real deep bass sound not throaty nemore the car seems to run smooth but the low end tq is slightly lower with the 93 but better up top

so the question is with the info given is my car tuned for 89 or 93? any more info needed????

The sound is in your head! But you said that the torque is gone and it pulls harder up top with the 93 so therefore I believe that you have a performance 93 tune in there!!
