P.I. stuff :)


well i'm just gonna do P.I. intake and P.I. cams in NPI heads...along with underdrive pullies, 4.10's JLT rai, orh and spec stage I cluch and fly wheel with SCT tune....so how much power will i been looking at here? I'm doing the install myself after carefully reading the intake and cam install guides. I'll keep u guys updated when i get everything around and get it started(soon i hope!) but just wanna know what i kind of power Im looking at here. thanx all!

230-240 rwhp. a gain, i would go ahead and get the heads if i where you...

not alot of money....plus im not doing headwork myself nor am i paying someone to do it. and its not worth another 10hp for all that trouble....besides i'm moving and i can't afford a head install.....but thanx so far....anyays what will my 1/4 mile look like? btw I'm 800 ft above sea level!

low 14s im doing the same thing except im adding nitrous cam DR's and 100-125shot nitrous +suspension and hopefully wanting mid to high 12s

now go to sleep its late lol

i think if your going to do cams you might as well do some VT stage 1 or 2

Yeah I agree with jersey on this one! I say go with at least a stage 1 cam! Stage two will require you to get new valve springs and is a lot more expensive! When I did the the PI intake I could feel a power difference thats for sure especally up top! And I would say 230-235 are closer numbers but it really does depend!

ok sounds good! If i'm really short on cash I'll just stick with P.I. cams but if i can I'll get those vt stage I or crower stage I(I'm staying with stg I cause i don't wanna change the springs)...but if how much more power will i be looking at with a stg I cam on top of everything else i'll have???? 245ish??? it'd be nice

i thought that our npi motors need new springs with aftermarket cams. we can use stock springs if we use pi cams, but if we upgrade where gonna have to swap them out. Only the PI motors don't have to upgrade springs. I had a convo with CASPER about this once, and I'm pretty sure thats what he told me.

so it sounds like crower stg I NPI cams are good huh? well like i said I'll get them if i have the money. I'm gonna do the intake and cam install at the same time. but anyways thanx so far! anymore advise is good!
