Just remove the trunk liner. Undo the few nuts that hole in the tail lights. Unplug the wiring harnesses (remember where they go. I just took a black marker and wrote on matching numbers, that way if I ever had to take them off again they'd be on there. You don't want to plug your brake ligh tinto your turn signal..lol) There are a couple of small screws that hold -whatever color your car is- brackets around the lights on. Take off the colored brackets and then spray away. Be sure to myst it on. If you want to go darker add another coat. Once you get it dark enough..clear coat it and then reassemble. It's really easy.

Nope, didn't sand. I guess you could if you wanted to. But I didn't see a point. It looks fine without sanding though. Tinted my horizontal brake light and totally blacked out those little side reflectors. Looks alot better. Spray paint works fine though. And make sure you use gloss. Don't get a flat black.

i did mine the exact same way as anglicogt98. No sanding. just cleaned the lenses really good with some dish detergent and wiped them off and let them air dry and sprayed away! I just called the wife and told her to put the camera batteries on the charger so I can get some pics of mine when i get home.

Does any one know why the completely clear tailights aren't made anymore?

I want a a set tp tint so they will appear "smoked" like some of the aftermarket headlights.

If anyone knows where some are, let me know!
