Need some advice on a motor

I am building a forged bottom end and need a block now. I would not mind waiting for a teksid to come up on craigslist a WAP to show up in pull and pay. But I found a complete 4.6 out of a 95 tbird.

I read that the iron block can pretty much handle anything up to about a thousand, give or take. He wants 85 bucks for the whole motor!

My goal is 600-700 with this motor...

Get the iron block or wait for an aluminum?

Iron block is plenty strong. For that price, I would go for it.

Yea i can sell the heads for that, even if they are npi. Do a little port work on them and clean them up a little.
