Need correct gear lube info
Hey guys,
I just took my rear diff cover off because i believe i always had the wrong fluid in there.Anyways i drained the rear and the fluid had tons of foam/bubbles in it.Like it had gone bad...anyways im just checking with you guys on what you recommend putting in the tranny and rear diff?I heard royal purple and or redline is good?But what weight oil do i use?Thanks |

My rear end is soggy and wet at all times, even leaves a drop of lube once in a while.
Just order some bottles of Royal Purple as he mentioned. I just hopped on www.AmericanMuscle.com and bought three. I didn't price shop that much, but between them and Late Model Restoration, they were free shipping and almost two dollars cheaper per bottle. |
