I have a 98' Cobra and she is great fun and wicked fast. I dont think you will regret buying it as long as its a manual.

welcome to the forums lol
well i've been reading about them and now know they have B heads compared to the C heads on the other cobras and i now kno the B heads flow so much they use a special throttle control to get air only to 1 of the 2 intake valves when running below 3k rpms leaving build up on them

but would a nice dose of nitrous help that low end tq problem and work great with the motor since it flows very nicely up top?

wouldnt it be sexy having a white and black 96&97 in the driveway

who races under 3k rpm? its nothing to worry about. Anyways if did spray under 3k rpm the air is traveling so slow thru the intake it will cause the fuel to puddle up. When that happens your intake usually gets blown into a couple pieces.

They aren't as fast as a Mach 1 or a 99 / 01. They aren't much slower either. The 03 / 04 is a world of it's own.

You won't be dissapointed, the car is a blast. It responds well to modifications and the first thing your going to want to do to it is put a gear in it. I feel the 3.27 isn't that bad, but I'm sure once my 4.10 gets put in I'm going to be giggling a lot more than I do now.

Buy it, I love them in white.

Well I am here to read and get spun up on Cobra of the 96-98 models. I am absolte noob to moding a car. Thanks for the welcome, I will be here often asking stupid questions trying to get this car fit to be seen. As it is, I have a White Convertible 98 Stock Cobra aside from the exhaust and tint.

i ddint mean to race it but since only one valve is getting the fuel than the other is just there building up carbon cause no fuel is passing through it which would hurt its performance on a high mileage one right? or is this something i shouldnt b too worried about?

Maybe common knowledge to you. This is the first Ford I have ever owned. I have been a Chevy man up until now. Sorry for my ignorance on the matter.

I searched and searched and finally found a good deal on mine. It's a 96' had 94,000.... black leather, and Laser red exterior. Great car for the fine price of 6,500 bucks. It is a real Cobra too...
