if my car runs 9.6 in the 1/8 with .680 r/t does that mean the car could run 8.9- 9.0 with a perfect or close to perfect r/t

r/t has nothing to do with the final time... what's your 60 ft time?

no the ET time is measured from when your wheels move, so if you sit at the start for 5 seconds after the light turns green you will have the same time as if you had gotten a perfect RT! Chris learn your stuff, stupid thorthen high school dropout! lol JK

that all depends... I have been to several and they all rate your time from when the green drops. like in braket racing bad RT but you still hit your dail in and the gey net to you got a good rt and missed his dail in by .023 he would win...

BUT a time clock is a time clock! lol so if you nail a perfect RT or a bad one the ET will be the same. In bracket racing, RT is the key factor, but we werent talking about bracket racing were we!

LOL R/T has nothing to do with your E/T you actually said it yourself you said in bracket racing your R/T determines if u win EVEN if you hit your E/T which could only mean one thing... your R/T is added to ur E/T LMFAO!

easy way to think about is: how can u b timed on your 1/4 mile if your not moving yet????
