I'd be depressed if there were only 1/8 tracks around me.

Oh well, at least in the 1/8 you can put the wildest gear in possible and it makes sense. Go find that 4.88 and throw it in.

how about living 3 hours away from any track....

ours gout closed down 3 summers ago and we all have to drive out to Englishtown to get a pass. Englishtown is ussually overcrowded everytime we go and wind up only getting 2 or 3. Hows that for crap, Drive across Long Island, drive through the city, then through jersey just to run ur car once or twice and then go home.

2 runs for me equals almost 300 bux outa my pocket.

i can't right now...i've got too much of a good thing goin here...

when i'm not getting screwed over legally or having irony kick my balls i make a pretty good living doing nothing. I have the ability to make over 2500 bux a month doing nothing but sitting at home. My Gf makes almost as much money as i do working, and my mother makes what we make combined.

We've all had a lot of accumilated debt from acts of god to plain old stupidity, so where all working together to give us a fighting chance. I'm pretty much free and clear, GF is on her way, and my mom said she's 3 months away from being in the black.

If we move we all lose our income which is pretty decent considering our occupations. As soon as we've got some dough were gonna buy a house together, but until then i can only go to the track twice a year...

Thats about me too, and the track is 1/8, the 1/4 is about 4 hours away....cordova or joliet is like 2 away

But in the 1/8 they run whatever more of shows up more road vehicles show up they do brackets, more actual drag cars they do a reg drag deal...so i have to guess good/be really damn lucky

I live about 15 minutes from Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL. However, it's always crowded and the track is about the money, not the racers. Sure, money is business, but that track ruins the fun of racing.

The following tracks are all 1.5 hours (tops) away.

US41 which is closed for some legal issues or something in Morocco, IN is about an hour and a half tops from me. I love that track.

=Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI is a ball.
=Cordova Dragpark in Cordova, IL is usually a nice time.
=Byron Raceway up by Rockford, IL is very similar to US41.

I have it made, all the drives are awesome and I can get in 15+ runs a night at my leisure. I'm sure someone else here goes to some of these tracks. I

im like mustang matt my track is just down the road, and yeah money talks and bs walks there to. that does put a damper on the fun thats why i only run in the trophy class. its a lot of fun and money dosent seem to rule.
